*** Pumped Up Kicks is way better but this is alright
***** Terrific track, one of their finest. Dernière édition: 13.10.2012 05:38
***** 5+ Dernière édition: 24.07.2011 20:10
***** Kreativer, erfrischender Indie-Electro-Pop. The Naked And Famous herstellen, dennoch hochinteressante Band! 5*
It What You Want gefällt mir besser aufgerundete 3.5...
**** Not bad, poor choice of follow up to Pumped Up Kicks though. Dernière édition: 07.11.2018 23:09
***** Mooie opvolger van Pumped up Kicks
**** leuk
***** I don't particularly like the vocals, I find them more annoying than in Pumped Up Kicks, but it's probably due to myself being not used to them. Overall it's a solid track. 4<br><br>EDIT: Grown on me quite to the point where I enjoy the quirky vocals. I love the use of the synth, it's very cool and the production of the track is very well done with the upbeat combination of percussion, synth and vocals. Dernière édition: 04.12.2011 08:27
**** Cool song.
***** Enjoy this song, but nowhere near to the way that I enjoy Pumped Up Kicks.<br><br>EDIT: Time for an update.<br><br>This is brilliant! Still not as good as "Pumped Up Kicks" though.<br><br>4* -> 5*. Dernière édition: 05.02.2015 03:16
***** Stimme bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig aber ansonsten schöner Opener ihres Debut Albums! 4.5 Dernière édition: 10.12.2011 08:47
***** Verdammt gut.
**** Okay song.
***** Der Song gefällt mir sehr gut, interessante Melodie. Knappe 5*
| **** "It's kind of about the dichotomy between partying and the keeping your life together at the same time. I see that a lot in Los Angeles, people looking really good and they've got this big smile on their faces but they're so wasted they can barely get into the car." | ****** An absolutely stunning track, this is Foster The People's best song. A confronting, original beat interlaced with Mark's very unique vocals takes this to a whole new place. Love the hook in the chorus, love the concept of the song and the video is great as well. One of the top 5 tracks of 2011 for me. |
**** The song's likeable, and catchy if you listen to it enough...The 'turning into a child' concept at the end of the music video was already taken 17 years ago by my username's namesake.
Knapp 3*.
***** Gut.
**** For a while I had this confused with "Call It What You Want" for some strange reason. Enjoyable but the vocals grate a little.
**** 4 stars<br><br>CDN: #70, 2011<br>USA: #121, 2011
***** Starker Opener von "Torches" (2011).
****** Everything about this is just magical. Great vocals as usual from Mark Foster, lyrical flow is great, and the chorus doesn't get old despite being repeated to many times. I love that instrumental bridge so much too. Still my favourite Foster The People track, and it might always be that way.
**** Gut.
**** D'Helene isch erfreut!
