****** Absolutely a contender for song of the decade. I'm not even a huge LCD fan but there is just so much to like about this song. There's a big fun chorus to yell which means even 14 year old me loved this song. There's a fascinating spontaneity to the percussion which feels deliberately off kilter, but at the same time you know it's just there to bring you closer to aforementioned big fun chorus. There's the really fascinating lyrical side to it that sum up growing up that kind of admits things aren't that great but manages to find a way to settle. Because after all, even if some escapades go nowhere, the experiences you get from them can sometimes be the most rewarding thing of all. I wish more people could be like what's portrayed in this song, if just for the bit about realising you're out of touch with the young, and accepting it and moving on (it's also an amusing contrast to pretty much all of "Losing My Edge"). A triumphant triumph. Dernière édition: 09.02.2016 20:01
